Honda Brio is a forthcoming hatchback from Honda India. The company is expecting that it will be most fuel-efficient car in the upcoming days. It was unveiled at Delhi Auto Expo in the last year. It is expected to fight against Hyundai i20, Toyota Estilo, Maruti Swift, Chevrolet Beat and the upcoming models like Maruti Cervo, Toyota Etios Liva etc. The Interior packaging on the car is expected to be in line with the Jazz, so expect it to be high on comfort and space. The Company has officially declared to launch it by September 2011. The price tag of this hatchback is expected to be less than 5 lakh in India. This car will be the solution for those people who are suffering from traffic problems. Ease of parking is another advantage for the customers.

Interior - It will be one of the beautiful hatchbacks in the upcoming days. The company is famous for its unique interior design. It is a five seater which is expected to be roomy. It assures you comfort as expected from credible company. The features like gear Knob, body colored mirrors, inbuilt Audio System including USB, power steering, elegant Dashing board, armrests, Air condition adds much more comfort even in the long journeys with good fuel efficiency. But you need to compromise on luggage part. It gives very less amount of space.

Engine - It is expected to load with 1.2-liter VTEC petrol engine. The displacement of this car will be 1196cc which give enough power. It can produce utmost power of 89 Bhp at 6200 rpm and peak torque of 110 Nm at 4800 rpm. The company has a plan to increase 1 liter motor in upcoming years.

Exterior - It is smaller than Maruti Swift and it looks unique from the rear side because of all-glass stalk. The car is pretty with its aerodynamic design; the front look is amazing with its chrome strip and Honda logo on the grill. The attention-grabbing part is its shoulder line which starts at the C-pillar and flies down to meet the front wheel arch line and it continues to meet top edge. 2012 Honda Civic: No Really, it's the All-New 9th Generation Civic Sedan and Coupe Models

We know many of you will find it hard to believe at a first look, but this here is the completely new, North American market, 2012 Honda Civic. Even though it may seem otherwise, the 9th generation Civic has been designed from the ground up and shares very few parts -if any- with its predecessor, well that is, aside from its styling personality which has gone from bland to blander...

Not surprisingly, Honda managed to remove all the styling elements that made the Detroit Motor Show Civic concepts somewhat worth a second look from the production models.

The design similarities with the 8th generation Civic are not only visible on the outside but continue inside as wells with the dashboard styling and the near identical layout.

The 2012 Civic lineup includes a sedan and a coupe with a conventional 1.8-liter gasoline engine, a new "HF" high fuel economy version with the same 1.8-liter unit, two sporty "Si" performance versions, along with one hybrid and a natural gas alternative-fuel variant.

Starting with the all-new Civic HF, it is powered by a 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine delivering 140HP and an estimated fuel economy of 41 mpg on the highway.

The most fuel efficient model of the range is of course the Hybrid, which will be outfitted for the first time with a lithium-ion battery and a larger 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine producing a combined 110HP. Honda said the Civic Hybrid is expected to achieve an EPA-estimated city/highway combined fuel economy of 45 mpg, an improvement of 4 mpg compared to the 2011MY Civic hybrid.

Both the Civic HF and Civic Hybrid models are equipped with aerodynamic components for improved efficiency as well as with the Honda ECO Assist system.

The regular Civic Sedan and Coupe models get the 140HP 1.8-liter i-VTEC (but not the aero improvements) and are expected to return an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 39 mpg on the highway, an improvement of 3 mpg over the current model. The Civic Natural Gas model is anticipated to earn a 7 percent improvement in fuel economy compared to the current version.

Finally, the sportiest model of the lot is the Si which get a larger and more powerful 2.4-liter engine as well as a new 6-speed manual transmission. Honda said it the new engine will deliver 200 horsepower with 170 ft-lb of torque. According to the company, the Si models are anticipated to achieve an EPA-estimated highway fuel economy of 31 mpg; an increase of 2 mpg when compared to the current model.

"The Civic is the only model in the industry that can deliver on all fronts – fuel economy, sporty performance, smart packaging, alternative fuel and long-term value," said John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for American Honda Motor Co.,Inc. "For the ninth-generation Civic, we are emphasizing improved fuel economy across the board, from the hybrid sedan to the sporty Si model."

Honda will release more information on the new 2012 Civic closer to the on-sale date, which is expected this Spring.

Honda CR-Z TS-1X Concept Car

Revealed at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon, the Honda CR-Z TS-1X hybrid concept car is an impressive beast with its stealthy matte-black paint job and extensive aerodynamics package. The automaker’s initial press release was short on details, but, luckily, a walk-around clip has surfaced on You tube, detailing some of the innovations developed by Honda.

While nothing has changed under the bonnet, the TS-1X is said to offer improved fuel efficiency and better handling car thanks to the aerodynamic enhancements which generate more down-force and reduce drag. Other improvements include a strengthened body, sport suspension and new 4-pot caliper brakes.

Honda Accord Crosstour gets 4 cylinder option

In the late 2009, when Honda launched the Accord Crosstour, it was told that the only available powertrain would be a V6. Now VTEC reports that a memo has been sent to the dealerships states that a four-cylinder Crosstour will be available this year.

Though the details about the sedan has not yet released, we can assume that it would have the same 2.4-liter engine currently available in Accord. VTEC also reports that a larger four-cylinder unit is currently in works for the CR-V crossover. We can expect that the four-cylinder engine will only be available on lower-trim Crosstours, likely without an all-wheel drive option.

Honda CRZ - Japan Car of the Year

The 2011 Honda CR-Z may not be selling successfully in U.S., but it has received the Japan Car of the Year title and hence Honda has decided to launch a new special edition version. This edition will only be available in a special "Pearl Dipusafaiaburu" blue paint.

This hatch uses unique 16-inch alloy wheels and premium metal pedal pads. Honda has also decided to take an extra effort of placing a "Japan Car of the Year" sticker on the rear quarter glass behind the driver's side door. Neither fuel economy nor power has been improved but it seems that it will only be available for Japanese
